2-Pediatric hematology department

The department has 25 beds. Children under the age of 18 years old inclusively living in the Republic of Uzbekistan are hospitalized. The department provides diagnostic, medical and consulting assistance to patients with systemic blood diseases, hereditary hematological pathology, hemostasis disorders, erythron pathology, etc.

Patients are hospitalized in the department according to nosologies:

• ♦ acute and chronic forms of hemoblastosis;
• ♦ aplastic anemia of young age;

• ♦ acquired and hereditary forms of hemorrhagic diathesis of young age;
• ♦ acquired and hereditary forms of hemolytic anemias of young age;
• ♦ severe forms of deficiency anemias.
• ♦ immune thrombocytopenic purpura

The department cooperates with colleagues of the Federal Clinical Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology (Russian Federation). For five years (since 2009) they have been participating in the international multicenter study MB-2008 on the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children.
